Matt Guenther

Matt is a Managing Director at Oberon Securities, bringing over 25 years of transaction and advisory experience in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, general industrials and industrial services, business services, aerospace & defense, automotive, distribution & logistics, industrial machinery, and agribusiness sectors.

Matt is experienced in evaluating, structuring, and negotiating transactions (both buy and sell side), as well as working with companies to drive both organic and inorganic growth. He enjoys partnering with middle market companies to assist them in realizing their strategic goals and has a background in working with closely-held companies.

Prior to joining Oberon, Matt spent over 20 years as a middle market private equity investor targeting industrial, manufacturing and services companies, most recently as a Managing Partner at GenNx360 Capital Partners. He was member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Exit Committee, and Chairman of the Valuation Committee. Responsibilities included sourcing and assessing investment opportunities and soliciting, negotiating, and managing both debt and equity investment structures.
